Designing in context

The surrounding area has evolved over time, with historic buildings sitting alongside post-war housing and more recent development to create a varied skyline.

Building heights have been carefully designed to reflect the surrounding character while retaining key heritage buildings and creating new public space, walking routes and new homes.

As the proposals evolve, we are continuing to work closely with Islington Council and are carrying out detailed technical assessments, including daylight and sunlight, wind, privacy and townscape studies, to ensure the design responds positively to its surroundings.
