As we develop proposals for Old Street Quarter, we’re taking on board what we’ve heard from the local community.

In 2023, plans for the site focused on offices and other commercial uses. Since then, demand for large office developments has fallen, while London’s need for new homes, particularly in well-connected locations, has continued to grow.

We’re now taking a different approach, with proposals that respond to this changing demand and reflect the priorities you’ve told us matter most:
