New homes

The proposals will deliver a mix of market and affordable homes, co-living and purpose-built student accommodation.

The market homes, co-living and student accommodation help fund the affordable housing, while providing a range of housing choices to meet local needs.

  • 20% of the living floorspace will be provided as affordable housing, supported by grant funding

  • A mix of housing equivalent to around 1,200 new homes

  • Equivalent to 1.7 years of Islington’s annual housing target
